These lovely people working here are incredibly kind and helpful. While I was driving my baby to see them our AC went out in the middle of summer. I called ahead and warned them I was bringing an overheated baby with me and asked them to be ready to help cool her down when we arrived. A technician met us at my car and raced my girl inside and got her sorted out immediately. We had to have an X-ray, two shots, pain meds and a prescription food and all of that was only 388, which is absolutely insanely cheap in vet terms. Dr Perry was very kind and helpful, and I wish I could remember our technicians name, but when I tried to shake her hand at the end of the visit she laughed and said "oh no honey" and pulled me in for a hug. We live about 30-40 minutes away, but this is definitely gonna have to be our home vet now. Thank you so much for taking such good care of my baby, the shots you chose for her had her feeling much better almost immediately

My family and I have been to this vet twice in the past 3 months to have our best friends laid to rest. Both experiences were absolutely traumatic. Both the doctors we saw, Dr Taylor and Dr. Bryan, have the worst bedside manners we have ever experienced. At our most resent visit the vet techs were arguing with each other over what room to put us in. When the doctor came in the room he completed the check up and let us know that it was our puppy’s time to go. After the catheter was placed they let us back in the room and gave time with him. When Dr. Taylor came in he administered the medication and then let us know that the catheter had popped out of his vain and the medications were just in his arm meaning that the catheter would need to be replaced. Another vet tech came, NiCole, to place the new catheter. She was the only person throughout this process that showed us any compassion. When Dr. Taylor came in again to administer the medication he only gave the lethal medication with no sedative and when we asked about it he brushed us off. Our puppy passed while still awake. Having to make the decision to lay your best friend to rest is the hardest decision you’ll have to make and it is not a process that should be rushed.

Early in 2024, I started taking care of an old outdoor cat that I eventually realized had been abandoned due to his health issues. When I saw that he needed medical care and a home, I welcomed him in and Deep Creek was where I brought him to get him the help he needed. We named him Gamble, and from the moment he moved in with us he was the coolest, sweetest cat I've ever met. Everyone at Deep Creek, from the front desk to the doctors, always treated Gamble like a star every time he came in (rightly so), and I cannot overstate how thankful I am to have had a vet where I always felt he was getting the best care possible and the appreciation he deserved. I just lost my little buddy last Friday, and while nothing dulls the pain of losing my little Gamble, the kindness and compassion of the staff at Deep Creek has meant so much to me in this extremely difficult time. I'm glad to have trusted them with his care over the years.
